Twelve metres above the harbour basin, Havnehus stacks forty-one homes into a single board-marked concrete frame. Every apartment opens to the water on two sides; the structure does the rest. Shortlisted for the Mies van der Rohe Award, 2025.

Research
Every commission begins as a question, not a sketch. We study site, climate and use until the building becomes the only reasonable answer.

Structure
Structure is the architecture. We expose what carries the load, and we refuse to decorate it.

Detail
A handrail is held ten thousand times. We draw the last millimetre — junctions, shadows, tolerances — ourselves.
FORMA is thirty-two architects, engineers and makers working between Copenhagen and Singapore. Two studios, one drawing standard. We take on eight projects a year — never more — and follow each from first survey to final fixture.
